http://www.comicbooktrailers.com is a site created to help promote comic books
and comic-related projects. More and more creators and publishers are using
video to attract new readers. We thought it would be cool if there was one site
you could go to see them all. Anyone who has a "CBT" can submit it to be placed
on this site for free (see the guidelines below for more information). It is our
hope that this site can be a valuable resource for creators, publishers,
retailers, and readers alike.
- What is a "CBT" ?

A "CBT" is an acronym for Comic Book Trailer. This is a video that is used to
promote a comic book, web comic, trade, or comic-related project.
- Why can't I see the trailers ?

The comic book trailers are encoded in a Adobe Flash 8 codec.
You need to update your web browser to the latest Adobe Flash Player.
It is a free download from http://www.adobe.com.
- How do I get a CBT made ?

There are several sources on the Internet, as well as third party programs and
services. One such service is by New Legend Productions, Inc. If interested, you
can contact them for more information at: http://www.newlegendproductions.com/
- How can I get my CBT listed on the website ?

Click on the "Contact Us" link at the top right, fill out the form and submit, to initiate your request.
- What are the guidelines for submitting a CBT ?

- The CBT must be promoting a comic book or a comic-related project (i.e. movie, video game)
- A CBT shall not be over 3 minutes in length.
- The CBT should be rated G to PG-13 material, as this is a family friendly website.
- We accept CBT's in a variety of formats. Our videos are displayed using Flash,
but we can convert almost any format to be played on the site.
- The CBT must be submitted by or with the approval of the creator or publisher of the comic. No "fan films" allowed.
- The CBT should not contain any material that violates another's copyright. By
submitting the CBT, you affirm, represent, and/or warrant that: you own or have
the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use all patent,
trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights contained in the
CBT.
- For clarity, you retain all of your ownership rights to your CBT.
- Why was my trailer removed ?

The administrators of comicbooktrailers.com reserve the right to remove any CBTs
for any reason and without prior notice. When possible, we will attempt to
inform the person who originally submitted the video that it has been removed.
